The Swinging Wake
This Chamber Has No Windows And No Doors

"So, Zoe, what am I supposed to do with this thing? How does it work?"

Actually, there are numerous ways to enjoy The Swinging Wake. You could listen directly from SwingingWakeRadio.com by simply clicking on the POD icon seen next to the title of the latest episode (see the header of the first entry, below). Even if this isn't your preferred option, this website will be in continuous development and feature whimsical mirth not found in the feed by itself, so it's worth it to check back often.

If you would like to listen with iTunes you can do so by opening it and then clicking right here. You will then be subscribed.

That's not the only option, however.

You can add it to your Zune (if Zune Marketplace 2.0 is installed) by clicking here
Add to Google Reader by clicking here
Add to Rojo by clicking here
Add to Newsgator by clicking here
Add to Bloglines by clicking here
Add to Netvibes by clicking here
Or add it to anything that takes an rss feed by using the url swingingwakeradio.com/rss

What's the best way to enjoy this? That's a matter of personal preference, but I, being fussy, have an opinion. If you have decent speakers hooked up to your computer and spend time on the interweb, feel free to listen through this page. Otherwise? I would suggest treating said podcast in a literal sense and listening to it with your iPod. Synch it up from your iTunes and listen to it at night before you go to sleep (now everyone can take Zoe to bed with them!) I'm trying very hard to make the entire hour of each episode entertaining from front to back.

In other news: this morning I cooked up a very simple sort of flyer to use to pester my friends on the Myspace.

I'm sure most of you could do better. And if you feel so inclined, please do! I'm going to need banners and icons and things like that in the days to come. What you see above is the best I can do with the programs and ability at my disposal.

If you're not photoshop inclined, please feel free to pimp me out! The more I get the word out the more fun it will be.

Speaking of fun - many of my friends were once a part of my old radio show. You're invited to be a part of it once again; once I get a few more episodes under my belt and know what I'm doing a bit better.

Magical Neil and Dom had me over to guest DJ on their program, Power Forge Radio a couple days ago. However, due to the size of the show they won't be able to publish the episode until the 27th at the earliest. The show turned out fantastically, though, and as soon as it's online I'll let you all know.

Till then...
